PARK HYATT BEAVER CREEK RESORT AND SPA ANNOUNCES MAJOR GUESTROOM REDESIGN TO COMMENCE FALL 2013
BEAVER CREEK, Colo. (Summer, 2013) – The Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa is pleased to announce a major room redesign, which will begin in the fall of 2013 and be completed in time for the start of the 2013/2014 ski season. The $4 million dollar renovation will bring a fresh, mountain contemporary look to the hotel’s 190 guest rooms, incorporating the look and feel of the majestic Colorado Rockies but in a modern and exciting way.
The resort has partnered with Dallas-based interior design firm, Looney & Associates, for the redesign which will include a complete hard and soft goods upgrade. The new rooms will feature a sophisticated, calming and timeless palette of soft, creamy white with touches of charcoal grey and golden butterscotch. The focal wall of each guestroom will include a unique, starburst wood grain pattern that evokes the natural surroundings of the Rockies and marries the interior elements with those of the exterior. The new carpet design will reflect, in an abstract manner, a freshly groomed ski slope and the guestroom artwork will consist of peaceful reflections of the Colorado Rockies.
“Our team is looking forward to the beginning of these beautiful room updates,” says Robert Purdy, general manager, Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa. “We strive to provide our guests the highest level of service and amenities, and are excited to have a new room offering to match.”
The resort will also undergo a multi-million dollar update of Ford Hall, slated to begin in April 2014 and be completed by mid-May of that year. This will include a complete refresh of the meeting and pre-conference space including new carpet and wall treatments, new furniture and remodeled restrooms
